Experience Highlights

​

• First, delve into the rich ancient history between humans and raptors in our Tudor style classroom. Here you will be exposed to the equipment, training techniques, natural history, conservation, and the care and management of raptors.

• You will then be fitted with your gauntlet as you learn how to call a raptor to you!

• Meet at least two of our raptors and an owl. 

• Experience the thrill of a trained raptor flying to your gloved arm. 

• Interaction with the raptors will be done outside, in our open air flight aviary, or directly in the raptors' enclosures for an up close experience.

• Gain knowledge on current issues facing these spectacular predators and learn some simple solutions you can participate in to ensure their future existence.

• You will visit some of our exhibit raptors in our falconry village.

• This experience is for your group only. NO unknown guests  will join in your experience.

• This experience affords the most time with our raptors.

Additional Information

Spring/Summer:

Please dress appropriately, closed toed shoes and bug spray.

Fall/Winter:

Raptor Hill is located on the side of a mountain, as we hold our experiences later in the afternoon, the temperature can drop significantly so, please dress appropriately.
