Experience Highlights

• On our way to the classroom, you will be introduced to some of our resident raptors.

• The Owl has been both persecuted and adored by humans for thousands of years. Their natural history is full of curiosities.

• In our Tudor style classroom you will be exposed to the equipment, training techniques, natural history,  care and management of raptors.

• You will then be fitted with your gauntlet, as you prepare to interact with the Owl.

• Then you will have an opportunity to enter one of our resident owl’s enclosures, where you will meet the Owl for photos in an up-close and personal experience.

• Gain knowledge on current issues facing these spectacular predators and learn some simple solutions you can participate in to insure their future existence.

• An unforgettable in-depth opportunity to focus on, observe, and interact with an Owl.

• Learn about owl’s amazing adaptations for survival, conservation efforts and how you can aid in their continued existence.

Spring/Summer:

Please dress appropriately, closed toed shoes and bug spray.  

​

Fall/Winter:

Raptor Hill is located on the side of a mountain, as we hold our experiences later in the afternoon, the temperature can drop significantly so, please dress appropriately.
